Brian Deane

Wisconsin Conquerors FC is delighted to have as a sports consultant, the services of a true legend of the game, Mr. Brian Deane.

A three time capped England National team player, Brian is famously known for scoring the first English Premier League goal in 1992 against Manchester United in a 2-1 victory for Sheffield United.

Brian was a prolific goal scorer, amassing 194 goals in 652 career games, in a period spanning 21 years from 1985 to 2006. He represented clubs such as Doncaster Rovers, Sheffield United, Leeds United, Middlesbrough's, Benfica, Leicester City, West Ham, Sunderland and Perth Glory.

At Leeds United, he featured in the UEFA Cup and earned a Football League Cup runners-up medal.

In 2012, Brian was named Manager of Norwegian top flight, Sarpsborg 08; semifinalist in the Norwegian Cup under his leadership.

Recently, in 2019, Brian joined Premier League club Leeds United as coach for the Leeds United Development Hub for elite player development.
